Dressed Up Self Portrait

I went on an artists workshop trip. I took a class on dramatic head drawing and this is what came out of it. I sadly don't have a scanner so this is brought to you via a 3 mega pixel cellphone camera. The medium is graphite dust. Its spread evenly on the paper and the shading is achieved by the used of 2 erasers. I used a plain old white vinyl eraser for the lager eraser jobs and a kneaded rubber eraser for the details, Most of the blending came from my fingers. This is a GREAT medium for any artist.
